Fitness Center

Long Island Fitness & Training (LIFT Inc.) is the operator of the Clubhouse Fitness Center. Owner Daniel Braga, who currently operates a LIFT gym in Jericho, has been operating and managing gyms for over 15 years. LIFT already has several Country Pointe Plainview homeowners and future homeowners as existing clients. LIFT has fitness instructors in the Country Pointe Plainview fitness center during varied hours throughout each week. They offer evaluations, personal training, and fitness classes in the aerobics room, such as Pilates and other specialized exercise classes.

HOURS:
The Fitness Center is currently open MONDAY through SUNDAY from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm;

Please access the gym via the FRONT Clubhouse doors after swiping in at the Concierge Desk as follows:

Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 10:00pm
Saturday, 10:00 to 6:00pm
Sunday, 10:00am to 10:00pm

Please use your FOB to access the SIDE door of the gym as follows:
Monday through Saturday, 5:00am to 10:00am
Saturday 6:00pm to 10:00pm
Sunday 5:00am to 10:00am

GUESTS (i.e. non-residents), and those under the age of 16 are not permitted in the gym.

"Specialty" classes as indicated are paid classes. 

SPECIALTY CLASSES are $5 with your pre-paid fitness card.

Please purchase a card online, charged to your account, via the POS.   

Remember to bring your card to each specialty class so it can be punched by the instructor.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
:

Morning Stretch- Universal full body stretch routine both on the mat and on your feet. Based on class size both stretches and class will be modified to accommodate the number of guests.

Cardio and Core- Aerobic and Anaerobic cardiovascular training combined with various core exercises. Workout will be modified to the best of instructor’s ability based on number of guests as well as various fitness levels

Total Body – Full body strength training. Workout will be modified by the number of guests and by various fitness levels. Free weights as well as machines may be utilized.

Functional Movement and Body Weight Pyramid- Combination of functional movements we see in our everyday lives. Squats, Lunges, Step ups, Pushups, Planks, sit ups are examples what you may see in these classes. Exact routine will be determined by specific instructors evaluation of guests various fitness levels.

Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms.
